Faunalytics is running their 5th annual Remote Symposium for Animal Advocates, scheduled for September 10th, 2026
Deadline: Applications for presentations are due by May 29th.
A message from Andrea Polanco:
“We invite academics and researchers from the social and behavioral sciences, or related disciplines, to submit a presentation abstract focusing on a synthesis of research. We are particularly interested in research supporting advocates in the U.S., China, India, and Brazil, and in comprehensive analyses, such as meta-analyses or expert overviews, that provide a deeper understanding of topics relevant to animal advocacy. We will not accept an abstract focused on the results of one study.”

Community Survey
Additionally, Faunaltyics is conducting their annual Community Survey. This helps Faunalytics understand how they can improve their research and other resources.
A message from Andrea Polanco:
“As an important scholar in the animal protection community, we’d love to get your feedback about our work. If you’ve already taken the survey, please disregard this message! Otherwise, we’d be grateful if you could take 5 minutes to provide your feedback this week.
By completing the survey you’ll also have the option of entering to win a $50 gift card or donation to the animal charity of your choice.
Please know how much we value your input as we attempt to make a bigger difference for animals. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the survey, feel free to reach out to me at andrea@faunalytics.org. Thanks in advance!”
