Call for Nominations

PHAIR Society Board of Directors

The PHAIR Society is seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the first election of the Board of Directors as stipulated in the Bylaws and Election process rules.

The Board of Directors will normally meet once per year and decides on the activities, mission, and future of the PHAIR Society. 

We are seeking nominations or self-nominations of full members for the following positions: 

• The Clerk: one position for a 2-year term
• Director-at-Large: one position for a 2-year term
• Directors-at-Large: two positions for a 4-year term

We are also seeking nominations or self-nominations of Graduate student members for the position of: 

• Graduate student representative: one position for a 2-year term

Nominations are now open and will close on Monday, August 1, 2022, and should be sent as an email attachment to phairsociety@gmail.com.  

Nominations should include:

• Nominee’s full name, email address, institution, title. 
• Name of the position you would like to run for
• Current CV (or link to CV webpage) 
• Conflict of Interests: Nominees should disclose any personal interest that may conflict with the interests or mission of the PHAIR Society
• Confirmation that nominee is willing to serve in the role

Individuals will be notified of their nomination status in August and asked to submit a candidate statement of maximum 200 words by August 31, 2022. The election will open September 15, 2022.
